LOG CABIN PANCAKE HOUSE
Ronnie and Linda Huskey opened their first Log Cabin Pancake House in Pigeon Forge in 1976. With that location being so successful they opened Gatlinburg in 1979 when that property became available. The log building in Gatlinburg is built of massive timbers that had been salvaged, with some being over 200 years old.
Linda lost her son and her husband within 6 months of each other, but with the support of family and her staff, she was able to continue with the legacy she and Ronnie had started more then 40 years ago.
In 2017 she chose to let the lease go in Pigeon Forge and had plans to build a new restaurant. After the “Wildfires” in Gatlinburg, the delays in building made it impossible to get open before the busy season that year. With that issue she has chosen not to currently build, and to concentrate on the Gatlinburg location on Historic Nature Trail.
